Synopsis

Ivan Didoukh has worked all his life but is now overwhelmed by taxes. Living under the spell of peasanthood, brutalized by alcohol, working a rocky ground where silence and summary justice reign, he prefers for himself and his son, the fate of an immigrant that will dig his grave in Canada. To raise the money necessary for the trip he sells everything he owns. Robbed by a thief he decids to kill him.
